Date night.
Friday night was date night. Sorta. I say sorta because we got to the Athenian Room at 6:00pm and literally finished our dinner by 6:28pm. Yeah...we housed those gyro dinners. Not normal and not a typical date which consists of lingering courses and conversation. I had a sweet tooth after so I coerced husband to walk to Swirlz for an after-dinner cupcake. Nom. Nom. And I have to comment on two things:
- I love the slogan that Swirlz has posted all over the store: "cupcakes make people happy" YES!
- Don't ask me why I look like such a discombobulated mess. It was windy and my coat doesn't match my purse and I really didn't care. That cupcake was worth the public humiliation.
