Let's talk shoes. Booties specifically. As a Chicago gal, winter footwear adjusts drastically. Open toe shoes are officially a thing of the past as we hit single digits this weekend. Brrrr is right!
Let's stop and pause for a second. How much do you spend on boots? $50? $150? More? No judgement here but what if I told you that affordable + fashionable belong in the same sentence and it's possible to find GREAT boots for under $50? BAM! It's true. Meet ShoeDazzle...better yet...meet my cute, new booties shown above!
...and here's two of my other favorites that are in heavy rotation. Not ShoeDazzle but definitely MVPs.
Today's your lucky day. If you follow the "one for me, one for you" gifting strategy then I've got your covered this winter. In fact, I'm sharing 13 of my favorite ShoeDazzle booties for your shopping pleasure below:
Happy shopping! xo
It's getting spooooooky in here. How cute is this doorstep? I found it via a Blissful Nest - swooning over that outdoor rug, right? We are totally in the spirit and the house is decked out. The Halloween parties are commencing, the sweaters are coming out of the closet and the chocolate is being eaten in copious amounts. Whoops!
I am mourning the loss of another weekend. I feel like October is flying by so quickly. It's insane. From here on out we are going to try and cram as much pumpkin into our schedule as possible. I will admit...the weather has been hovering at this perfect 70ish mark which makes outfit prepping kinda fun still. Not quite in layers but chilly at night.
I'm still feeling the black but this time with a pop of PINK! My all time favorite color. My girls ask me weekly what my favorite color is and every week I tell them the same response - PINK, ALWAYS PINK! They must be really bored with dear old mom.
One of my top five favorite things about Fall has got to be the ability to wear denim cutoffs with long sleeved tops. I couldn't tell you why that is but it's a thing and it's a small fleeting moment before our legs completely freeze over here in Chicago.
Well Happy Fall. Today really feels like Fall because we've had a major heat wave in these parts. Brutal.
But today, a gorgeous cool morning means I can reach for my cardis and boots again which I am totally okay with.
What could be better than a dress made out of sweatshirt material? Don't answer that! I realize this trend might not be for everyone but shoot guys, I was ultra comfortable running around the city in this little diddy. Fashion tip: You have to belt this dress or it will look like a giant potato sack which is no bueno. I linked a few inexpensive options below but you can find a wide belt just about anywhere these days. Belting everything is SO of the moment again.
I write this post as I browse pink sneakers online. I have no idea how I end up in these rabbit holes. I look at today's outfit post and I do admire a good heel but I dare say...I think I am becoming a sneaker head! Heels offer such a beautiful silhouette but there are so manyyyyyy sneaker options. Is that the mom in me coming out? I think so.
Mmmmmm Fall. So delicious and layered and vibrant. I may have a case of the FOMOs from Fashion Week but I am ready to embrace a new season. Not to be confused with pumpkin spice anything because that stuff is gross. Just gimme all the honey crisp apples, sweaters and bonfires and I am a happy camper...a stylish camper but happy!
What's the #1 thing on your Fall shopping wish list? Dying to know!
I've been craving a good pair of flattering cargos for what seems like an eternity. And I finally found them at Evereve. I have NEVER shopped there but was pleasantly surprised. This pair is from Blank which I happen to love and have several of their styles in my closet. They fit well, forgive in the right places and are not at all baggy or unflattering like in the old days! Even cuter with heels for a night out on the town!
Sooooo...this top. Yeah, I wear it a lot. Whatever happened to the baby doll trend? I miss it. In other news, I just listened to a podcast with Courtney Love. Like whoa. She was an amazing interview. I highly recommend Girl Boss Radio if you like podcasts.
