Well, here we are...1.5 months until it's adios 2015! My golly. I'm starting to think about the holidays and gifts and of course...shopping. Today's Budget Babe has officially commenced the dressier side of things - add a little sparkle, a little pep in the step. Sequin pants, natch. And a certain air of fancy.

With Summer in full swing, there are so many amazing fashion deals to be had. Summer fashion may be the most inexpensive but it sure ranks pretty high on the "fun" scale. I am a lover of whimsical prints and lotsa color! Today's Budget Babe is a exhibit of both!

Morning fashionistas! Today brings the May edition of Budget Babe...a series after my own heart.

The winds of change have me gravitating towards linen dresses, simple slides and yep, you've guessed...neutral accessories. In fact, I love the affordable cross body bag I listed below. Less is more when it comes to warm temps, I suppose.

I'm so excited to switch out my wardrobe and move in a different direction. I'm still on a neutral kick, which, I'm enjoying because I know brights are around the corner! 

The last Budget Babe we shopped was back in February and what a difference a month makes! Ditch the jackets, sequins and buffalo check for a fresher outlook! As always, I vow to find trendy, sophisticated pieces that won't break your piggy bank - always under $50!

This month's Budget Babe is dedicated to red, black and white. And it's a little Valentine inspired, too! Given the impending Spring fashion, there's no shortage of fun deals out there. The biggest challenge for me was evaluating what I really need vs a frivolous purchase.
