Clip. Share. Earn. Who doesn't like the sound of those three magical words? I know I do!
As we head into Fall, I've always got my eye on two closet staples...always. Slick ankle booties and sweaters! Meet my friends, Maven. Imagine if RewardStyle and Pinterest had a baby...that's the hybrid machine that is now called Maven. But different. Better. And open to any and all who have a love for shopping. Consider this the shopping website antithesis to "Mean Girls" if you will.
What I love about Maven is the more I "clip," which; is the equivalent to "pinning" on Pinterest, the more I earn. In essence, when I create a board and share on my social channels, the greater the impressions or people view my boards which increases my probability of earning. I share and you purchase items from my boards. Perfect timing for the holidays...who couldn't use a little side cash?
The best part is that Maven is not limited to fashion only. You could create boards for babies, home decor, electronics and more. My friend even created a board for her 5 year old's birthday wish list. Genius. What comes next? You guessed it...she shares with her party attendees. You could become a personal shopping concierge for just about anyone!
It was easy and my favorite feature about Maven is that they pay out my commissions in 30 days. The more I clip, the more I earn. You can even earn commission on the boards that your fellow mavens share that you've created. Simply install the "Mavelet" tool into your navigation bar and start clipping! Easy peasy.
I see this as the ultimate tool for husbands who are stumped at birthday/anniversary time. Gosh, I'd use it as a virtual board for furnishing my living room...which we are in the midst of as we speak. The sky's the limit! Which begs the question...

Good morning beauties! How are you? Staying cozy? I just finished a holiday video on getting ready for a glam night out. So fun...which put me in the mood for holiday ensembles. Shoes specifically.
As much as I love shopping for me...I honestly love shopping for you more. I love finding the perfect item when a friend inquires or seeing someones reaction when they open a gift they've been pining for. It's the hunt or the chase, rather. I love a good hunt!
I'm all about the sweaters this week! Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
Today I've rounded up six super fabulous knits for you OR your gifting needs.
I've always been somewhat of a skeptic regarding Cyber Week. Or perhaps just not ready to get my holly jolly on. I would shop sporadically all month and go at my own pace. I feel differently this year. Honestly, I think it's because I ready to celebrate the end of a very difficult year. The ups and downs were tremendous so holiday shopping and the holiday spirit seem like something I can rally around.
Fear not babes...I haven't fallen asleep at the wheel where Cyber Week deals are concerned. I assure you I got my shop on this weekend from the comfort of my couch mixed with a touch of local shopping for Small Business Saturday. How about you?
In a cozy state of mind this morning. How about you? This is sweater weather folks...keep the cups of piping hot coffee coming! I've started putting together Christmas lists and hiding gifts. Full speed ahead but while you're here...let me share a few items that I am coveting heavily.
Husband - are you reading this? Take note!
Happy November! Can you believe? I am ready to deck the halls which is the antithesis of how I normally react to the last 60 days of the year. Who am I? Honestly, I am ready for the glitz and the glam because I love a good excuse to dress up so bring on the parties. Are you with me?
To me, jewelry is the accent piece to every outfit I select. Not a day goes by that I don't add earrings and rings, maybe even an occasional necklace to my daily uniform. A day without statement jewelry leaves me feeling totally naked. Something is off. Every outfit needs a touch of sparkle.
It's funny how Fall emerges and within 24 hours...it's like majorly over in Chicago. This weekend they are talking temps in the 40's. My lord I am not ready for this. I was really enjoying pumpkins but hey...bring on the velvet, right? My husband literally just called me to secure holiday outings with his family this morning and I am a little baffled by it all but I will tell what I am looking forward to...HOLIDAY SHOPPING.
It's getting spooooooky in here. How cute is this doorstep? I found it via a Blissful Nest - swooning over that outdoor rug, right? We are totally in the spirit and the house is decked out. The Halloween parties are commencing, the sweaters are coming out of the closet and the chocolate is being eaten in copious amounts. Whoops!
