It's thrifted!

I've had this sequin blazer for a long time. I bought it at a vintage thrift store probably 12+ years ago. I can't even remember where I got it it was so long ago. It's a looser, more boyfriend fit if you will although I'm not sure "boyfriend fit" was a thing when this baby hit the racks. It's pretty old...you can tell by the tags.

Still something caught my eye. I loved the B&W sequin pattern and the fact that it was in mint condition. Let me just tell you how heavy this jacket is!

I've worn it so many different ways...over dresses, dressy trousers, with white denim, cut off shorts...you name it.

As a side note, I'm having a bit of a closet situation these days. I need to do some serious purging. Just ask my husband! Anyhow, I plucked this lucky number off the rod and seriously contemplated putting it on my Poshmark page but something held me back.

There's something special about it.

As fate would have it, I wore it to meetings and a lunch yesterday and sure enough, I received not one but two compliments on it further justifying that my pack rat mentality serves me well. I know a good thing when I see it!

Shop my outfit below and a couple other sequin blazers I adore:
