I'm breaking out the sundresses. It's official. <REJOICE> I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I had one of the best Mother's Day celebrations thus far. The weather was gorgeous. We hit the zoo, ate lunch outside, took in all the flowers at the Lincoln Park Conservatory and topped it off with a froyo date. It was amazingly perfect and I am so grateful for this little family of mine. 

Today I am sporting an adorable shift dress that looks just as great with a leather jacket as it does alone. The lace up details are on point and I'm all about this tribal inspired pattern. Just add a cute pair of booties or gladiator sandals and you're set for brunch, the farmer's market or anything in between!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern.
