I've had this top for awhile and had to get some slight alterations. Read: I do not have a chest at ALL! Now that it fits, I truly love it. You guys, it's $11. No joke.

It looks super chic and date night ready with a pair of liquid leggings or leather pants and equally perfect with your favorite blue jeans. I wore this for a weekend city lunch because the spirit moved me but I knew I was going to be with kids. I threw on jean shorts without thinking and then said to myself, "Now what?" I can't walk the city in heels with two kiddos. Again, not thinking, I threw on my trusty Adidas and grabbed my backpack. Somehow this all worked. Or at least it did in my opinion! I think it's the juxtaposition of dressy on top and a party on the bottom. Don't you love when that happens?

A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

…and just to prove how extra I can be, I paired this ensemble with a houndstooth tote. A bit much? Perhaps. My coat is on super sale so grab it now! I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern.
