The Money Pit Series: our powder room is complete!

If you remember from last year, this powder room jutting off our kitchen needed some major love. As in 1984 called and they want their shell sink back! I cringed every time I went in there. But, we had to save to complete the rest of our first floor and save we did.

Before:

Uggs. Major uggs.

Progress:

Wainscoting up. New wood floor stained. Patch and repair walls.

New vanity went in. New marble counter set.

Current:

Ta Da! 

I'm still not sure about the corner unit that I scored from Home Goods. Nice price tag, I know. Keepin' it on until I am completely sure but I liked that the marble top matched the carera marble counter top on our vanity. Plus, the paned window allows me to showcase cute accessories.

As for the rest...I gotta tell you this is my new favorite room in the house. I always envisioned a fun, whimsical room with wallpaper and I finally got it. It's bright and cheery and fresh looking. I love it!
