It always takes the first gloomy day and back-to-school for me to change my seasonal mindset. I just need a little added push to get me over the hump and out of cut off shorts. You feel me?

Yesterday was that day. A rainy, school day…working in the quiet of my home office, candle burning with copious amounts of coffee and I became distracted by felt hats, booties and cardigans. Oh my! Fall decor included, I thought I would return back to some of my highest performing content and share my shopping must haves with you because a change in seasons means every woman is surfing the internets. You can count on that!

We inherited my parents French, dining room table when we bought the house and it’s one of my favorite pieces. The natural wood and curvature fit perfectly into our formal dining room despite being over 20 years old. They don’t make furniture like this any longer. Along with it, we inherited the formal dining chairs which we repaired and reupholstered as well.

Quickie post today as I spent the weekend literally spending all my money on May holidays and birthdays. May is pure insanity for us every year. It’s the fastest month that usually leaves me feel like I have whiplash come June 1.
