Throughout this entire historical moment, I’ve found the best way to ease anxiety is to make an action plan. Even if that plan only gets you through this week, determining next steps and distracting your focus from the negatives is what has gotten me through the rough patches and kept me optimistically motivated.

Small wins include waking up, getting ready including hair and makeup. People ask me why I do it or how I do it and my answer is the same as it was before. I make the time for it just like I would be going to a regular meeting…even if that meeting is downstairs on my couch. It’s a meeting no-less. Truthfully, there is only so much athleisure I can wear which is not to say that it isn’t cute because it is…I just need to know that I can fit in pants with zippers and shirts that button. Some days I am on Zoom meetings with CEOs and some days I am on Google Hangouts with my staff. Either way, I feel like I need to show up and look the part; more importantly, I need to set an example for my girlies.

This outfit is a mix of reinvented staples along with two new pieces. The hat, lace turtleneck and boots were all mine. The mini handbag (squeal because it’s sooo cute) and trench dress are new and AFFORDABLE classics I’ve recently added to my wardrobe. I’ve linked all the items below. And I have some special shopping codes for you:

For my trench dress, use code JINGJohanna15 for 15% off all regular priced items.

For my mini purse, use code Q4Lane15 for 15% off any purchase valid through 6/30/20.
