Grunge.

Lately I've been wanting to change up my usual sartorial choices. Sometimes I don't feel my inner girlie girl. For this look, I wanted to punch it up with a textured, layered look. My cami is faux leather and could definitely be worn alone, however; I thought it would be fun to add an extra layer of warmth rather than put it on reserve for warmer temps. My boots are from Zara. I've been such a stress basket case lately and they reminded me (continuously) that I need to stop and just enjoy life. Amazing food, lotsa belly laughs and genuine, authentic girl talk. My cup runneth over. I've waited for girlfriends like this my whole life.

Transitioning the Tropics!

I'm about to go on a massive closet purge but before I do...I'm taking a good look at what items I can transition simply with another layer. Case and point...this cami dress.

Why yes, it is exceedingly tropical and looks amazing when accompanied with a pina colada...fact is, I won't be near a beach anytime soon. So, let's make it work overtime into the Fall. Pink and green is a match made in heaven. I've chosen to toughen it up with leather and sneaks. Easy fix for this mom!
