I realized something about myself over the long weekend. My aesthetic has changed once again. I'll always be an early adopter of trends but I now know, in my late 30's, what works on my body. I can pick out the versatile pieces that will allow me to mix and match 2-3 different outfits vs. being limited to one look. While I've had a lot of fun with fashion, I decided it was time to trim my closet of the unnecessary and execute a major Poshmark Holiday Clean-Out. The perk? Mint condition items that have barely been worn at bargain pricing for you guys!

Anyhoo, are you running around like a crazy person getting ready for the holidays? Because I can tell you I am. I've never been so unprepared for the holidays as I am this year. I am going to embrace it though with a lot of caffeine until I collapse...hopefully not at the mall.

MVP.

2014 has proved to have a very distinct MVP where my sartorial choices are concerned. The party skirt. By far, this item gets the most ROI in my closet and I quite like it that way. Nothing takes the guess work out of getting ready like a chic skirt. All that's left is some fab accessories and a basic top. 

Voila. You can walk in anywhere.

Never let anyone dull your sparkle.

Last month I was invited to preview GILT's exclude shoe capsule with an intimate group of bloggers. You might have seen a few glimpses here and here. Each of us was gifted a gorgeous pair and naturally I chose the sparkle. 

As the cold weather positions itself for the next few months, not even a gray day could dampen the sparkle on these beauties. It was love at first sight. And for many others I might add.
