The best workout tanks.

Johanna at a tennis court wearing a printed activewear set of leggings and a workout tank.

Hi! Today’s post was a spontaneous IG fam request and I thought to myself, “Why not share the love on the blog?” This is something almost all of us are in search of. I used to wear beat up tees to workout and I found myself hating the fit or feeling unstylish as I watched the other chic, svelte women hop on their bikes in class. Let it be known that I refuse to spend on a ton on certain workout gear because they eventually get beat up and tossed. Tanks are one of them!

So, when a lovely IG friend messaged me after having a baby and needing some new gear, I knew I was not alone. You want to feel good and look good but that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to break the bank. There are a host of options out there but I am simplifying the choices by sharing my favorites. This is truly what I wear on the daily. No bullshit. Price, fit and quality are great. I work out six days a week so I’ve performed the machine wash test; I assure you.

All of these tops fit TTS so select the size you wear on the regular.

  1. I love this pack of 3 for the value and the fit. They run TTS and I can use them for SPIN as well as yoga. I prefer a looser fit when it comes to tops and these “fit” the bill.

  2. The marbling on this pack of 3 is great and I really like the color options. Racerback tanks are great because they blend in with your sports bra and again, this is a looser fit. I am all about clean lines.

  3. I have this tank in two colors and I love the mesh detail. You can’t beat the price and they wash really well. I love the little knot feature in the back.

  4. This tank comes in 16 colors and I love the heathering effect. Another great price point so it’s easy to stock up!

  5. Do not underestimate Walmart for workout gear. I have this tank in black and I reach for it the most lately. It’s moisture wicking and so comfy. I throw it on with athletic shorts for runs or walks with the girls and I wore it during our entire road trip this summer.

  6. I am very uncomfortable with crop tops but this is a longer version and the material is fantastic. Everything Onzie makes is fabulous. I almost exclusively wear there leggings. I own this tank in two colors and love it for the bike. It’s loose but not hanging below the seat.

  7. Okay this tank is just plain cute. I think we all fell back in love with tie dye so this is a win. Perfect for a run or strength training and it comes in multiple colors. You’ll be right on trend.

  8. This last one is the ideal muscle tee and comes in four colors. A little graphic bad assery never hurt anyone. The length is great, too!

Now go break a sweat!
